He almost missed her. The faintly thrumming light around her waist was what had caught his eye. She was dead still. No , he realised, she was slowly rising like a flower turning to face the sun, her movements camouflaged by the tree next to her . Slowly the silver arch of the bow rose, an arrow already beginning to be pulled back.
